Measuring devices used in most industries require regular calibration to ensure of proper control of production process and to document and store calibration parameters. Using trimmers or potentiometers instead is more time-consuming.

Removable PR4501 programming front with display allows to configure and calibrate PR devices of 4000, 9000 and 3114 series with a few buttons. PR4501 stores information about last calibration and configuration which can be used to create reports.

 

 

Calibration

 

There is not even need to use a screwdriver! Easy-to-use PR4501 programming front allows to perform digital calibration with a few buttons located on front panel. Instruction will guide you step by step through calibration process. You can choose between a full calibration (low / high), a single high or low calibration.

 

Documentation

 

For PR devices of 4000 and 9000 series just detach programming front after calibration and attach it to PR4590 ConfigMate interface and connect to computer. PR3144 is programmed directly by PR4501 / PR4590 devices. User has several options to choose from when connected to a computer:

  • Print calibration and configuration reports directly from computer which reduces possibilty of man's mistake when prescribing. Reports are printed directly from the memory of display.
  • PR4501 programming front stores complete configuration data (along with password to device). You can even find a lost password in calibration reports.
  • The report shows an error of initial calibration up to 5 decimal places
  • There is possibility of adding informations to calibration report such as tag number, serial number of tested equipment and many other.
